20% of all Art Show proceeds will be given directly to Semiahmoo House.
Semiahmoo House Society is a non-profit organization located in Surrey/White Rock, which provides services and support to people with disabilities and their families.

Visual art is a universal language and great art knows no boundaries. With more than 60 pictures in the New Life Kids Art Show, Alexandra House will once again be filled with great examples of innovative ideas and well studied art techniques. This is the second time this art show will be part of the Alexandra Festival. The 20 artists participating are all new residents of Canada. Coming from China and Taiwan these art students are from six to eighteen years of age. Their paintings reflect their love of White Rock, Crescent Beach and the surrounding region. Their teacher Dehai Wang is an established art professional whose paintings are in private collections throughout America, Australia Japan and Europe. Dehai Wang gives his students his mastery of technique – from meticulous drawing to paintings in oils watercolor, and acrylics. Dehai also provides an avenue for the students to develop their creative and artistic vision. Many students have gone on to successful fine art studies at the university level. The children love the local community and this show in their work. The young artists will be present to answer questions and talk about their work.
